We are planning a number of trail days this year to support both trail construction and maintenance. There are a number of exciting additions and changes planned and we need lots of help to make them a reality. All trail changes are submitted to the Upper Thames Conservation Authority for approval prior to construction. This year we are planning the following as trail build days:
Apr 8 and 15, 18 and 25th
May 11 and 12 (Thurs/Fri) and 13th these have been cancelled. sorry for short notice. 27th is still a go.
Will advise on additional build days if required.
And these are the trail maintenance days:
Apr 22nd Clean Up Day
June 3 and 24 (trim and mow)
July 8 and 29 (trim and mow)
Aug 26th Race Prep Day
Trail build days will be focused on creation of new trails, trail features, etc. on a specific section of trail or new trail area. Trail maintenance days will be focused on mowing grass, trimming branches, leaf blowing, etc. We need lots of help for both activities, so look ahead and pick the days that work for you. All work is weather dependant, look to Facebook and Twitter if you are not sure if the day is a “go.” Everyone is welcome to come and help out. Please let us know if you are coming by emailing the club at firstname.lastname@example.org. Watch the web site and Facebook for more details.
