Youth Program

Youth Mountain Bike

The Woodstock Cycling Club ( WCC ), is excited to offer another year of our Youth Mountain Bike Development Program. Our program is designed to foster confidence and participation; a recreational opportunity for all kids regardless of competitive ability. Cycling is a sport that offers individual challenges and rewards as well as a fun social dynamic. There are no tryouts and no cuts in this program. We offer a supportive environment based on personal accomplishment at individual skill levels. The only requirement is a desire to have fun while developing fundamental cycling skills. Parental involvement is encouraged (but not mandatory) through volunteer efforts or direct participation. Group leaders will need a criminal records check.

Members of the Youth Programs must take out a youth or family membership in the Woodstock Cycling Club. Well maintained trail suitable bicycles, water bottles/hydration packs and approved helmets are required. ( the club will try to assist anyone on individual needs.) Eye protection is also highly recommended.

Rides may be cancelled due to weather; extreme heat, cold or thunderstorms. Follow the clubs twitter feed (@WoodstockCycle) for updates.
